Job Summary
The Project Manager (Builder Sales Division) will primarily support the Yale Builder Division and the builder client community. This position will support all parts of the business operations from a service delivery perspective and will make significant contribution to the future direction and success of the Builder Division at Yale .
Responsible for various elements of project management, including pre-delivery preparation and inspection, multi suite delivery, installation, deficiencies, customer education and after sale warranty service.
The position will be the key role in establishing a strong relationship between the builder, contractors, its tenants, and Yale Appliance . The individual in this role will be expected to oversee all aspects of builder sales after the sale and provide for smooth fulfillment and execution of multi-unit projects both large and small.
Essential Function Job Responsibilities
- Participate in all planning & site visits with salesperson and builder client teams’ pre-sale.
- Coordinate the project delivery schedule from model suite through project completion.
- Coordinate product preparation for delivery with warehouse, service, and installation departments
- Supervise all deliveries, returns, and exchanges to project.
- Document all phases of the delivery, installation, and startup of the project.
- Day-to-day customer service and promote quality and continuous integration and deployment that will enable fast feedback from our builder clients.
- Ongoing customer follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction managing all damages and deficiencies with the builder client.
- Ensure Yale sales team, builder clients and their tenants experience consistent and timely information and top-notch communication.
- Develop strong skills across all the various platforms including ePass system and Intranet to ensure high levels of service including Sales, Delivery, Installation, and warranty service.
- Continuous review to identify areas for quality improvements and best practices to systems and procedures.
- Work with the centralized team to contribute fully to the development of long-term strategies and service delivery plans.
- Actively communicate ALL feedback from clients and tenants regarding issue resolution, identifying new product opportunities and development of new leads
Required Qualifications
- Three years of Project Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Must be focused and detail oriented.
- Overall understanding of how appliances are installed & function is a plus.
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; translates first-hand customer information to use for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- A background check will be conducted along with a DOT Drug Screen
- DOT certification preferred.
- Must be able to perform manual labor in the field where there is moderate exposure to heat and/or cold
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to inclement weather when assisting customers or vendors with products outside the warehouse building
- Must have significant physical mobility and the ability to operate company vehicles, forklifts, and two- wheelers
- Must have the ability to both sit and stand for a significant portion of the working day
